Sailing on Bardowie Loch
It is thought that the loch was created after the Romans quarried the area for stone to build the nearby Antonine wall. It is currently used for dinghy sailing by the Clyde Cruising Club.

Private Road sign
At the corner of Station Road and the A807, Balmore Road. The sign says 'Station Road leading to Alander Avenue'. Note the spelling of 'Alander'. It should be 'Allander'. Above the modern sign 'Bardowie Road' is carved into the coping stone of the wall.
