Originally Brookwood Villa, and once Bearsden's library, the property is currently fenced off while the adjacent site is being developed. It is owned by East Dunbartonshire Council and has been available to let since late 2019.

Entrance, Brookwood Villa
Also known as Brookwood House, and once Bearsden's library, the property is currently fenced off while the adjacent site is being developed. It is owned by East Dunbartonshire Council and has been available to let since late 2019. Work is currently underway to refurbish the building and it is hoped that when work is completed it will let to a nursery by the Brookwood Community Trust, who will run the building.

Brookwood Villa
Brookwood Villa on Drymen Road has been undergoing a complete refurbishment, which involves demolition, construction and landscaping works. Once work is completed, the building, which is owned by East Dunbartonshire Council, will become a community use facility. The scaffolding at the front has recently been removed to reveal some of the external work that has been done.

Entrance, Brookwood Villa
The stonework around the entrance to Brookwood Villa is being refurbished. An earlier image from 2020 Image appears to show the stonework in better condition. Presumably an earlier attempt to restore the surface has been removed and is being replaced.

Maxholme Nursery School
The nursery school has up until now operated out of the 24th Bearsden Scout hall Image This week it opens in the newly-refurbished Brookwood Villa, the former Bearsden Library on Drymen Road.

Brookwood House can once again be seen as originally built, without the library extension that was added on https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4851650. This has just been demolished.

Brookwood Library
Bearsden's library was originally in Brookwood Villa, the building on the left, but a modern extension was added some years ago, and the library moved next door. East Dunbartonshire Council now intend to close the current building and new library facilities will be incorporated into the planned Bearsden Hub project at the nearby Bearsden Burgh Hall.

Brookwood Library, Bearsden
The library will close in this building on 24th February 2017, and will re-open on 6th March in the new Community Hub [http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5286491] a few hundred metres away, in what was the former Burgh Hall. It is not yet clear what the old library building will be used for.
