Bearsden's library was originally in Brookwood Villa, the building on the left, but a modern extension was added some years ago, and the library moved next door. East Dunbartonshire Council now intend to close the current building and new library facilities will be incorporated into the planned Bearsden Hub project at the nearby Bearsden Burgh Hall.
