No longer trading
Purple Edge was a card, gift and stationery shop on Drymen Road. It closed for business in July 2023. The notice on the door reads:
"It's with great sadness that after 25 years at Bearsden Cross we have decided to close the shop.
Due to the increase of bills and the decline of retail trade, we had to make the difficult choice not to renew the lease."
