Bearsden's branch of the Clydesdale Bank closed its doors to the public on 2 May 2017. It is one of 79 branches of the Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banking Group to close as part of a major restructuring. The distinctive red signage [http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5352621] has already been removed.
