View from the middle of a busy road. The roundabout is reduced to one lane due to work to reinstate the missing central deck of the railway bridge to accommodate a third track between Shields Junction and Arkleston Junction.

Roundabout on Hillington Road
Looking towards the main Glasgow to Paisley railway line. The blue bridge was recently restored to full width, having lost a deck when the line was electrified in the mid 1960s. A third track is scheduled to be laid there to relieve congestion on this busy section of railway.
