Old milestone
The photograph shows the right face of this old stone, the only one remaining within the current City of Glasgow boundary. It is on the A761 in Ibrox opposite Copland Road and in a recess behind a tree. The inscription on this face can just be made out, 2 Miles from GLASGOW. The left face has 5Miles from PAISLEY, 21 Miles from GREENOCK.

Not far ahead is the junction with Broomloan Road / Dumbreck Road. The block at the far left was later cleared away. The steeple on the right belongs to what is now the Image The high flats in the background are at Ibroxholm.
