Surgery of the well known MP for Govan, and later after the reduction in number of Westminster seats in Scotland, Glasgow Central. Mohammad Sarwar who is retiring at the next general election (Posted 2008).
The road was once the main route to Renfrewshire from the city and is still numbered A8.

Nicola Sturgeon MSP Constituency Office
The Member of the Scottish Parliament for Glasgow Govan has her Constituency Office located in proximity to that of Mohammad Sarwar MP. Nicola Sturgeon is the deputy leader of the Scottish National Party, and her claiming of the Glasgow Govan area was one of many surprises in the last Holyrood Election as voters in previously "safe" Labour constituencies turned their backs on the party to vote the SNP to a marginal victory.
