Surgery of the well known MP for Govan, and later after the reduction in number of Westminster seats in Scotland, Glasgow Central. Mohammad Sarwar who is retiring at the next general election (Posted 2008). The road was once the main route to Renfrewshire from the city and is still numbered A8.
