St Andrew's suspension bridge
The south side of the bridge which links The Gorbals and Glasgow Green on opposite banks of the Clyde. A nearby plaque states that the bridge opened in 1855 to replace a busy ferry.

St Andrews Suspension Bridge
Engineer Neil Robson built the bridge 1856 though over time the wooden decking was replaced with cast iron and was maintained up until 2005.
Photo taken from the Glasgow Gorbals side of the River Clyde which takes you over this footpath to Glasgow Green and into the city.
