Prospecthill Road (B768)
Viewed at the crossroads of Prospecthill Road and Aikenhead Road (A728). This road leads to the Victoria Infirmary, just under a mile away. In the not too distant past, there was a row of post war 'pre-fab houses' on the left hand side of the hill. They were intended as temporary houses, but lasted for about half a century.

Cathkin Park
Third Lanark Athletic Club were a football club that originally existed from 1872 to 1967. Originally one of the great clubs of early Scottish Football, Third Lanark were declared bankrupt and dissolved. Since 2006/7 an amateur team known as Lanark juniors has been playing at the ground.
