Glasgow Buchanan Street railway station (site)
Opened in 1849 by the Caledonian Railway as their terminus for trains from the north, this station closed in 1966 and was demolished in 1967.
View north east at the site of the entrance building which was immediately to the right of the nearest building in the image. The area has been completely redeveloped and no trace of the station appears to survive.

Buchanan House, Port Dundas Street, Glasgow
All wrapped up in April 2014 (presumably for work to the building), Buchanan House is built on part of the site of the former Buchanan Street Railway Station. This was once one of four main stations serving the city and was built in 1849 by the Caledonian Railway Company as its main terminus for the city, serving the north of Scotland. The station was closed in 1966 as part of the Beeching cuts, but the building retains its link with the railways as one of the main offices for Transport Scotland and as an office for Network Rail.
