Former Kelvingrove Parish Church with worker on roof
Finnieston Free Church was renamed Kelvingrove Parish Church and is now converted to flats. It was designed by architect James Sellars with a classical portico facing Derby Street, four pillars and a pediment, built in 1880. In the photo a workman has used a cherry picker in Bentinck Street to reach the roof, and is on the short tower which supports the stone lantern.
