Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Berkeley Street
The first phase of the new purpose built Gurdwara Singh Sabha (Sikh temple) on Berkeley Street. When Phase two is complete the new Gurdwara will be a community centre and an educational resource centre as well as a place of worship, which will be able to accommodate 1500 worshippers. Phase one is the main building, which is clad with polished limestone. The gold-coloured dome is made of glass-reinforced plastic. There is also an underground car park which will hold just over 250 cars.
