Royston and the M8 Townhead Interchange by the Royal Infirmary are prominent in the foreground. Many Glasgow landmarks can also be seen, including Glasgow Cathedral, ten of the Clyde bridges, Central and Queen Street stations, St Enoch Centre, The Armadillo and Ibrox Stadium. Sighthill from the air
The Pinkston Road towerblocks Image are prominent, as is Sighthill Park, with its stone circle Image The M8 Monklands Motorway runs along the course of the former Monklands Canal which once joined to Port Dundas basin which can be seen to the right. Glasgow Caledonian University can be seen across the motorway.
