The Pinkston Road towerblocks Image are prominent, as is Sighthill Park, with its stone circle Image The M8 Monklands Motorway runs along the course of the former Monklands Canal which once joined to Port Dundas basin which can be seen to the right. Glasgow Caledonian University can be seen across the motorway.
