Office block, Crow Road
A low office block with taller residential block above placed close to a significant suburban road and rail intersection and completely out of scale with its surroundings. It is Scotland's tallest listed building http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB43034
Post war plans for Glasgow would have seen similar tall blocks along much of Great Western Road.

Anniesland Mansions
These buildings look over a complex system of traffic lights. When I first moved to Glasgow in the 1970s, I was given a lift by a colleague. As we came to the first set of lights, they turned red and he opened his door, ran across the opposite carriageway into a shop and bought a paper. I sat there in the front passenger seat wondering what I'd do if the lights turned green before he returned; but he had plenty of time because it was a full 2 minutes before the lights changed.

Building at Anniesland Cross
Great Western Road is in the foreground.
From an internet source: "The block of buildings is Anniesland Mansions, which was built in 1907-1913 and occupies the corner of Great Western Road and Crow Road. In 2004 Historic Scotland announced that the block was to be included on the register of listed buildings."
