A low office block with taller residential block above placed close to a significant suburban road and rail intersection and completely out of scale with its surroundings. It is Scotland's tallest listed building http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB43034 Post war plans for Glasgow would have seen similar tall blocks along much of Great Western Road. Thanks to Thomas Nugent and Roger Edwards for additional information.
