The houses look very much like a 1930's design, so probably date from that period. This view is looking in the direction of the junction with Cleveleys Avenue.

Temporary footpath across the tramway, Gloucester Avenue, Cleveleys
This footpath has been laid over the tramway rails. It provides a link between Gloucester Avenue, and Rossall Road, during the period the tramway is rebuilt to accept the new longer and wider trams, which will be in service from 2012.
