On the pavement outside the beauty salon there was a telephone box visible on Streetview in 2008 but it was removed by 2009.

Railcoach on Dickson Road, Blackpool
Dickson Road was the last traditional street tram route to operate in Blackpool, services subsequently being restricted to the Promenade. Traditionally it was the terminus of the service to Fleetwood. This view was taken on the final day of operation.
The railcoaches were part of the extensive modernisation of the Blackpool tramcar fleet in the later 1930s.

The last day of trams on Dickson Road -3
Dickson Road was the last section of traditional street tramway in Blackpool. The terminus outside Blackpool North Station had been the traditional starting point of the route to Fleetwood – formerly the 'Blackpool and Fleetwood Tramroad' – and the service was operated by single-deck trams, latterly the railcoaches of the immediate pre-war period. Subsequently, as now, the Fleetwood service would run the length of the Promenade from Starr Gate. An inbound tram approaching Carshalton Road.
