Bannockburn Library
The entrance is from Greenacre Place, though this photograph is taken from Quakerfield.
The building appears to have been designed to resemble a missile silo or bomb shelter.

Bannockburn Primary School
Located in Quakerfield, a school for three to eleven year olds. Bannockburn Primary School was built in 1965 and has 18 rooms. An extension to the main building was completed in November 1993. This accommodates 5 infant classes. At present there are 17 classes in the school. The school is owned and maintained by Stirling Council.

The Old School House, Coal Wynd
Built 1833. The Listed Building Report, December 1974, notes the state of the building as 'very derelict'. Clearly, significant restoration has taken place since then.

The Allan Church of Scotland, Bannockburn Cross
The Parish Church of Bannockburn opened October 1839. At the time, the parish had a population of 3176 people, and local industries included carpet, shawl and tartan manufacture and coal mining.
