Bonnyside Road
Leads to paths running beside the Antonine Wall. The road is industrial on one side, with a row of recently built houses on the northern side. A still vacant plot visible behind the footpath sign.

Bonnymuir Place and Cowden Hill
A new house below a whin covered hillside. The new houses and gorse have made getting to the Cowden Hill triangulation pillar a little difficult. I think I found a gap, but having forgotten my lock, I could not leave the bike.

Tunnel under the canal
A tunnel under the Forth Clyde Canal carries a linear ford, a burn runs along a road built with sets. A drier footpath runs just above the road. I took the footpath.
