Forth and Clyde Canal near Camelon
This was once the site of Lock 11, hence the high bankings. It may be that it was remove to lower the water level as the canal passes under Camelon Road. The lock at Bainsford Bridge could have been installed to compensate for the loss of this lock. See Image

Rosebank Distillery Bonded Warehouse
Alongside the new lock 11 in the Scheduled Monument that is the Forth and Clyde Canal, the former warehouse is now a Beefeater. The building now with new fenestration probably dates from the 1890s and was closed by Scottish Malt Distillers in the 1980s. Rosebank Distillery was founded in 1817 under the Small Stills Act of 1816. It was rebuilt in 1864-5, and subsequently much altered. It was unusual in practising triple distilling. It eventually closed in 1993. Malt whisky must be left to mature in bonded warehouse for over three years before it can officially be called Scotch whisky.
