Bonded warehouses.
The blackness on everything gives the game away. Bonded warehouse belonging to Diageo (once Guinness and Distillers and a very big operator in the bevvy world). The black stuff is a fungus living off the alcohol in the air, evaporating from all the stored whisky. There is a strong smell of alcohol, so the fungus will be well fed.

Bonded warehouses
Part of a huge complex of bonded warehouses (whisky) at Greenkerse down by the Forth. The buildings and trees are all black thanks to a fungus that lives off the high concentrations of ethanol in the air. The volume of alcohol lost to the "Angel's Share" must be quite large. The air has a very distinct smell here.
