Northern Glass Cone, Alloa
This close-up view was gained courtesy of an obliging adjacent site-holder. It clearly shows the unusual octagonal stone base on which the main brick cone is erected. This had been built round as processes were modernised, but it now stands cleared to show its original condition. In the background is a silo belonging to the ongoing glass production facility.
