Broad Street, Alloa
The nearest spike is one of the original gateposts of the entrance to Alloa House, the area now having been transformed into Alloa Park. It is one of a pair thought to date from 1714, Listed Category B. It tapers at a remarkably similar angle to the spires of firstly St John's Church (Episcopal) and the more distant former Chalmers Church (United Free).
