Dog near Dawlish
The scene in Image, enlivened by a small dog who yapped incessantly as we passed along Dawlish footpath 22. Did it emerge from someone's Christmas stocking? The youthful hedge hasn't grown a great deal.

The footpath crosses a field of broad beans (the third in a row) towards modern bungalows on South Downs Road; the sea is about another 300 metres beyond.
