Two ways to the coast from the A379 junction shown in Image On the left is Warren Road; on the right is the smoothly tarmaced Dawlish Bridleway 5, a mere 160 metres that links to the South West Coast Path along the clifftop.

Cycle track between Dawlish and Dawlish Warren
Cycling is not permitted on the sea wall, so a cycle path runs a short way inland. The path is also the route of the South West Coast Path, although most walkers use the sea wall

The turning for Dawlish Warren, Warren Road, is just behind the man's head. The woodland in the background is Warren Copse. The Exeter Road bends to the left: off it there are turnings into recent residential estates.
