A small village on the former A30; the old village street in the centre and the old main road create an island of buildings.

The Trafalgar Way plaque, commemorating the sixth change of horse on Lieutenant Lapenotiere's journey from Falmouth to London to bring news to the Admiralty of the naval victory at Trafalgar but the death of Vice Admiral Horatio Lord Nelson. It's beside the bus shelter at the corner of Stanbury’s Orchard and the former A30.
