Carved stone post by the UC road (was A30), in parish of DREWSTEIGNTON (WEST DEVON District), Crockernwell, opposite Beam Cottage; 18m West of Lamber Lane junction, one of three stones cemented into wall, on path above road, on North side of road. Okehampton tombstone, erected by the Okehampton turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- OKEHAMPTON 11 MILES 2 FURLONGS 32 POLES See also: Image and Image The group of three stones is Grade II listed.
