Old Milestone by the former A30, Ramsley, South Tawton Parish
Carved stone post by the UC road (was A30), in parish of SOUTH TAWTON (WEST DEVON District), maybe from Ramsley, now in Ramsley, on minor road into South Zeal, at a junction, in front of garages, at roadside, on South side of road. Originally erected by the Okehampton turnpike trust in the 18th century.
Inscription reads:- : 188½ / LONDON :

Butterflies and bee on Michaelmas daisies, South Zeal
The bee is harder to spot - on the second bloom from the top. These are by a lane, which doesn't seem to have a name, between the old A30 and Ramsley Lane.
