Lapford railway station, Devon
Opened in 1854 by the North Devon Railway, later part of the London & South Western Railway, on what is today the line from Exeter to Barnstaple.
View north west towards Eggesford and Barnstaple. Previously there had been sidings to the left and a further platform southeast of the station, behind the camera position.

Pedestrian crossing over the Tarka Line at Lapford
The footpath from the station to the Nymet Rowland road avoids a longer walk on the road to and from Lapford Cross. A sign alongside the path names the crossing as Station Hill with mileage NDN 189m 71ch
