Mid Devon : Field & Footpath Sign
As I was walking through the field along the footpath the farmer happened to be driving through. He told me that he hadn't seen anyone using this footpath for many years and was surprised to see anyone using it. He did say that because nobody ever used it he had been growing crops in the field in the hope that nobody would notice and that nobody had seemed to complain since he's done it - however Geographers have proven him wrong as a look will find not only my own travel through the field today, but also Derek Harper who it seems came into difficulty following this footpath Image The farmer seemed a nice chap and then he headed off on his way.
