Gapemouth Corner, Kilmington
See Image, which shows the further part of the junction, with Roman Road leaving Shute Road. The common between the roads has become open woodland. As Martin predicted, the telephone box has vanished.

Kilmington: Roman road
The Roman road linking Dorchester and Exeter at the junction with The Hill and Shute Road, Kilmington. It climbs and skirts the northern edge of Kilmington Hill to then descend and meet the A35 Trunk Road at Taunton Cross. Looking west-north-west. How long will the telephone box last?

Bus shelter on west side of Kilmington
The stop and shelter are on the A35 just west of where that road passes through the village. The stop is convenient for those who live in "The Hill", south of the A35. Sensibly, the shelter has a window facing the direction from which buses will approach the stop.
