Broom Lane
This lane cuts across the southwest corner of the square on the outskirts of the village as it heads towards the River Axe at Broom Bridge.

Keates Farmhouse
There appears to have been two farms here in days gone by, Keates farm and Lower Tytherleigh Farm. neither seems to be a working farm any longer and a number of the buildings are residential.

This very neat detached house in the village has a rather tatty little sign announcing its name as Gransden Cottage. It is on Broom Lane close to its junction with the A358 Axminster to Chard road.
