Rear elevations of buildings in Heavitree Road, Exeter
Because the ground drops away from the frontages of these buildings, the cars are parked outside the basement doors. The rear elevations show a variety of extensions, and some have narrow upright windows for lighting stairways. The upper storeys are a mixture of offices and flats. The buildings would appear to date from the late 19th or early 20th centuries.
