Waltham Cross Railway Station
View of the station from Eleanor Cross Road. The station is on the main Liverpool Street to Cambridge line. The departing southbound train is a class 317 and is wearing National Express livery.

Waltham Cross station - exterior
Although the present buildings date from the 1970s there has been a station on this site since 1865; before that the original station buildings dating from 1840 were very slightly to the north. The current train service operated by Abellio is to Hertford (East) and Bishop's Stortford (northbound) and to London (Liverpool Street) and Stratford (southbound).

Waltham Cross railway station, Hertfordshire
Opened in 1885 by the Great Eastern Railway on what is today the line from Liverpool Street to Broxbourne, this station replaced an earlier station situated just behind the camera position.
View south towards Enfield Lock and London.
