Lodge and Out Buildings, Coopers Lane
A group of buildings beside the B156 that are associated with the large multi-storey house shown in Image I presume that this was the lodge for the house and that the other buildings were stables, etc for the occupants. Further research required.

Coopers Lane
A 242 bus passes a large house on the B156 Coopers Lane, on route to Waltham Cross from Potters Bar. The wall on the right has started to lean badly sometime in the past and buttresses have been provided to prevent collapse. The route is operated by Metroline on behalf of Hertfordshire County Council. The vehicles on this route have dot-matrix displays which precludes their use on Transport for London routes. They are also used on the 84 route - a commercial venture by Metroline, supported by Hertfordshire County Council and Transport for London.

Originally built c1690 for George Hutchins, King's Serjeant, but its present appearance owes much to alterations of c1868 for John Mounsey. Grade II* listed. The date of the photo is uncertain.
