Parish Pump and 'The Plough' Public House
This area of Cuffley was formerly the village green, but the focus of the village changed once the railway arrived in 1913.

Cuffley's oldest building
This pair of cottages, at the junction of Plough Hill and Hill Rise, date from the 18th century and is Cuffley's oldest surviving building. In 1786 this property was owned by Sir George Prescott of Theobalds, who probably had it built. The right hand part, under the sloping roof, is a modern extension.
