Arkley: The Church of St Peter
This church was originally built in 1840 in the Early Gothic style as an episcopal chapel funded by a Mr Enoch Durant. It is a Grade II Listed Building. It is on, almost literally as can be seen from the image, the A411 Barnet Road.

Arkley War Memorial
The memorial cross to the dead of the village of Arkley sits on the junction of Rowley Green Road with Barnet Road. At times of heavy traffic, vehicles waiting to turn onto Rowley Green Road can cause significant tailbacks.
