South Lodge Crescent runs from the junction of Merryhills Drive and Lonsdale Drive to Lakeside, there is then a further section called South Lodge Crescent from Lakeside to Lowther Drive.

Elm Leaves
Although all the large elm trees died from Dutch Elm Disease in the 1970s, small suckers still grow in the hedgerows and in some wooded areas.

Whatever happened to the Acorns?
I noticed this earlier in the year, but at the time didn't have my camera with me. Then these odd growths were green, but now in place of acorns this oak tree is covered in these odd growths, which could have been caused by gall wasps (Andricus glossulariae).
