Enfield Town: The 'Kings Head'
How misleading can external appearance be? I was expecting a comfortable local, but once inside, found a sparse and uncarpeted interior, with nowhere comfortable to sit. The one real ale that was 'on', was of average quality.

Entrance to the King's Head Public House, Enfield Town
Entrance to the King's Head Public House, situated in the Marketplace and adjacent to St Andrew's Church. Note the interesting scroll work above the door and the date 1899 on the wall at first floor level; also the interesting lights.
Since the original posting the pub has been refurbished and has re-opened as a focal point to the town. It is close to the recently upgraded market.
