Halmyre Street
Tenements in a street that is shown on old maps as Dickson Street. This is strange as then Dickson Street was in two parts, either side of Quarryholes House.
Now north of Lorne Street this Halmyre Street becomes Dickson Street.

South Lorne Place, Edinburgh
Originally this side close would have been narrower, but it has been opened up with the modern development on the right. This replaced smaller dwellings, rather than the larger tenement blocks forming the left hand side of the street.
