Forth Industrial Estate at Granton
A variety of buildings - an industrial estate; new residential development on an old dockland site; old conventional housing in the distance; the harbour on the left; and HMS Claverhouse in Granton Square, originally a hotel but used by the armed forces since the 1940s, and is now the "Reserve Forces' and Cadets' Centre", and houses 205 Scottish Field Hospital, Trinity Sea Cadet Corps and the Granton Platoon of the Army Cadet Force. Granton lighthouse
Inactive, the building was used by the Northern Lighthouse Board up to 2002. Built in 1845 now offices and studio.

Former Northern Lighthouse Board Workshops
This lighthouse, a prominent landmark on West Shore Road at Granton, was never operational but marked the location of the Northern Lighthouse Board's workshops and stores where buoys and chains were brought for cleaning and repair. This function is now done at their depot at Oban.
