A variety of buildings - an industrial estate; new residential development on an old dockland site; old conventional housing in the distance; the harbour on the left; and HMS Claverhouse in Granton Square, originally a hotel but used by the armed forces since the 1940s, and is now the "Reserve Forces' and Cadets' Centre", and houses 205 Scottish Field Hospital, Trinity Sea Cadet Corps and the Granton Platoon of the Army Cadet Force.
