Linlithgow welcomes strangers
I hope this is still as true now as it was when the statue was erected in 1720. St. Michael's welcome did not seem to extend to Google when its Streetview van passed by.

St Michael's Wynd
Narrow street off Linlithgow's High Street. The corner building on the right dates from 1885 and is Category C listed http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB37384. Behind this on St Michael's Wynd is the earlier 18th century Auld House, also Category C listed http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB37500. On the left the tenement, built in 1886 was formerly a hotel. It is now flats and an estate agents and is Category B listed http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB37382.
