Gilmore Park from Fountainbridge
With the offices of the old [1865] the North British Rubber Company, which have been disused for sometime and threatened with demolition as part of the redevelopment of the area. Here they are viewed from Fountainbridge. For earlier images and history see Kim Traynor's photos from 2011 Image and 2012 Image It is reported [Metro, 2 April 2014] that the building is closer to being saved with a Heritage Lottery Fund grant to turn it into a visual and creative arts centre.

Former North British Rubber Company building
That part on Dundee Street, the buildings extend round the corner into Gilmour Park. A surprising industrial survivor in this extensively redeveloped area, but recently overhauled for further commercial use. B listed as a whole, this near part dates from 1894.
