Gilmore Park from Fountainbridge
With the offices of the old [1865] the North British Rubber Company, which have been disused for sometime and threatened with demolition as part of the redevelopment of the area. It is reported [Metro, 2 April 2014] that the building is closer to being saved with a Heritage Lottery Fund grant to turn it into a visual and creative arts centre.

Former North British Rubber Company building
That part on Dundee Street, the buildings extend round the corner into Gilmour Park. A surprising industrial survivor in this extensively redeveloped area, but recently overhauled for further commercial use. B listed as a whole, this near part dates from 1894.

This building at the south end of Gilmore Park bears the name of the North British Rubber Company on a doorway Image It dates from 1894 and is category C listed. More recently it seems to have been used as a pub or nightclub.
