With the offices of the old [1865] the North British Rubber Company, which have been disused for sometime and threatened with demolition as part of the redevelopment of the area. Here they are viewed from Fountainbridge. For earlier images and history see Kim Traynor's photos from 2011 Image and 2012 Image It is reported [Metro, 2 April 2014] that the building is closer to being saved with a Heritage Lottery Fund grant to turn it into a visual and creative arts centre.
