Dalmeny Station Car Park
Only a few cars are parked there this Sunday lunch time, but during the week it is used by commuters who can quickly travel to work in Edinburgh. A ramp provides both access for wheelchairs and a modicum of exercise for sedentary office workers by making them go the long way round.

Dalmeny Station
Looking towards Edinburgh from the south end of the northbound platform. I'm torn between wondering whether this is the unofficial walking route, or whether walking is actually forbidden. Were it not for this notice, I might have remained blissfully unaware of the existence of the Dalmeny and Forth Bridge Workshops.

Dalmeny Station
An Edinburgh-bound train approaches the southbound platform at Dalmeny Station. Only local and commuter services stop here, and if I had missed being here to photograph this one, I would either have had to wait over an hour for a northbound one, or hope to be quick enough to capture an express as it passed by. The superstructure of the Forth Bridge can be seen beyond the right-hand end of the footbridge.
