Bush House West Elevation
The wing on the left, with three sets of windows, is the extension added in 1791 by R and J Adam. The main part of the house dates from about 1750 but has been twice altered. See Image

Bush House South Elevation
I was really lucky here. Just as I was cursing the owners of the two cars parked on the gravel, both sets of owners returned to their cars and drove off, leaving me a car-free view of the house. The south elevation was transformed in 1894-1895 by R Rowand Anderson, who venetianised the ground floor windows and rebuilt the centre with an exaggerated bow with Roman Doric pillars.
